RIM has introduced the BlackBerry Bold 9900 (and Bold 9930), the first BlackBerry handset to offer both a keyboard and touch display in the familiar Bold body, though at 10.5mm it’s the thinnest body yet. Running a BlackBerry 7 OS, the phone features a 2.8 inch touchscreen with 8 GB of onboard memory. A microSD card slot enables increased storage capacity, perhaps for the 720p videos that the 5MP camera shoots. It also features built-in support for NFC (Near Field Communications), a technology that allows, among other things, using the phone for mobile payment. Look for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 to be available later this month.
