The denim is the corner stone of work wear and Levi’s led the jeans market in America and around the world. Yet on the other side of the world, Japanese manufacturers took notice of the hard wearing fabric and produced their own denim which differed from the US made products. Levi’s Japan are paying homage to their denim roots by launching the Made in Japan collection made up of 505 and 551 styles. Each silhouette is available in Selvedge Denim and Tint Denim. The back pocket imitates the shape used in the 60′s and chain stitching is used on each hem. Last but not the least, hidden away on the pocket lining, there is a vintage graphic screen printed to show the long history of the Levi’s brand. All of the denims are currently in the inventory at the Levi’s E-Shop in Japan.
