Fans of the TimberlandPremium Waterproof Boot — commonly referred to as the “original” or “classic” boot — can expect the iconic footwear to undergo some changes for fall 2011. Wait, don’t panic: the modifications apply only to the interior, as the boot will receive new guts that enhance comfort and fit. Timberland has developed exclusive anti-fatigue technology, modeled after the shock absorbing floor mats in industrial work spaces, that provides superior cushioning, along with a new flexible forefoot construction. The upgraded boots will hit store shelves in mid August. Also, check our original post on the new Timberland 6-Inch Premium Boot Anti-Fatigue.
To commemorate the evolution of the Timberland Waterproof Boot, fans can upload images of themselves wearing their Timbos on to the brand’s Facebook page. Those submissions will share space with street snaps courtesy of photographers William Yan and Amy Creyer, the images telling stories of people on the street and how Timberland boots fit into their individual styles. Check out some of those looks after the jump.
