
Samsung introduces the Galaxy Tab 7.7, the latest installment in the brand’s Android-based Galaxy Tab line. The Tab 7.7 is the world’s first tablet to offer Super AMOLED Plus display, and with an HD resolution of 12800×800, tech blogs are already buzzing about the superior clarity and brightness of the 7.7-inch screen. The device runs Android Honeycomb 3.2, which is newly optimized for 7-inch tablets, and is powered by a 1.4 Ghz dual-core processor. Other features include a 3-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 2-megapixel shooter at the front, HD 1080p video playback and full voice and video call capabilities with HSPA+ 21 Mbps network connectivity. It all comes in a case measuring 7.89mm thick and weighing just 12 ounces, making the Galaxy Tab 7.7 arguably the most portable tablet on the market.
