A city that was once highly contested and marred by war, both “cold and hot”, http://berlin.de/international/index.en.php” target=”_blank”>Berlin is now on its way to become a world capital once again. With the city’s long stood concrete structures as inspiration, http://adidas.com/originals” target=”_blank”>adidas Originals created the adidas Originals ZX 9000. In part to celebrate the 10th anniversary of adidas Originals Berlin flagship, the grey motif largely symbolized the renewal of the city itself. To replicate the city’s complicated history, the design went through a process of bleaching and washing for a unique patina finish. Each individually laser etched with a specific number, the ZX 9000 will be available with a commemorative Colorado Windbreaker in similar design scheme. A limited run of only 150, all set to be release this Saturday, September 10th, at the adidas Originals Berlin flagship in the trendy Mitte district. Other “Made For” pack, including adidas Originals Tokyo (December 2011) and adidas Originals New York (September 2012) will be available as well in the coming months.
