Italian heritage sportswear label Ellesse has launched a project dubbed the “Fab Five,” in which the brand takes five different shoes from its archive and distributes the individual models to five European retailers to be customized as a reflection of the store’s core identity. colette went the retro basketball sneaker route with the Assist 1, designing the shoe in colette’s signature blue with white accents and polka dot laces. A basketball in a matching shade of blue is included with each pair. Only 150 of these were created, with 50 available through colette. Look for it to launch on September 15th.
