In this year's search for the Best New Menswear Designer in America, GQ -- with an assist from the CFDA -- handed the title to Alexander Wang, who beat out fellow nominees like Patrik Ervell, Warriors of Radness, Gant by Michael Bastian and others. This year each of the finalists was given the opportunity to contribute to a special collection for Dockers consisting of a pair of khakis and corresponding top. The title-holder went the minimalist route, presenting a pocket tee and a deconstructed pair of tapered khakis in which the designer played with seam placement and added pin tucks for volume at the top. The collection is available now at select Bloomingdale's stores and Bloomingdales.com, and through Dockers.com starting in October. Detailed looks of the khakis and tee after the jump.
