Quick, Air, Explosive – A trifecta of ultimate performances on the basketball court. The 3 are also the tenet to the new Team Jordan Signature Footwear – Jordan CP3.V for Chris Paul, Jordan Fly Wade II for Dwyane Wade, and finally the Jordan Melo M8 for Carmelo Anthony. An intimate design process between players and their own assigned designer started months ago, resulting in evolutionary creations that are revolutionary as well. For Chris Paul, designer Tom Luedecke took into account the player’s need for speed with a dual density cushioning scheme. Just light enough for Paul to push-off on the court yet durable from the constant wear. Dwyane Wade wanted a design that will propel him to new heights. Mark Smith replied with Lunarlon, the lightest foam material Nike has to date. New York is a hard place to live. It is even harder to play on the city’s centerpiece basketball court, Madison Square Garden.
