In looking beyond a people’s long association with conquest and blood, designers at Nike created the Aztec Pack, a collection of Nike Sportswear favorites adorned with traditional Aztec prints. In either Black/Anthracite or Grain/Ironstone, each is a composite of suede, leather, and fabric overlay imprinted the distinctive Pre-Columbian motifs. A part of Nike’s Fall/Holiday 2011 Collection, the Nike Air Max 1 Aztec Pack is to be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers in the coming weeks.
