Basketball-starved fans in the Miami area were treated to a lockout all-star game this past weekend. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh hosted the South Florida All-Star Classic at Florida International University, a charity exhibition featuring the likes of Amar'e Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Rajon Rondo and others. After a clutch Anthony three-pointer tied up the game for Team Wade at the end of regulation, the competitive game ultimately resulted in a 141-140 overtime win for Wade's team over James's. At the end of the game, LeBron, sporting his Nike LeBron 9 Cannons, took the microphone at half-court to address the crowd. "There's no us without you guys," he said. And for one night, there was no talk about the salary cap or contract lengths -- just the players and fans.
