Fila Cage Runner

When people think of http://fila.com/” target=”_blank”>Fila, it’s usually within the context of the brand’s pedigree. For earlier generations, it represents the tennis craze of the 1970s, when the label was endorsed by Bjorn Borg, winner of eleven Grand Slam singles titles. For others, the brand is associated with the ascendency of hip-hop in the 1990s, as well as the once promising career of NBA newcomer Grant Hill, who wore Fila sneakers while playing for the Detroit Pistons. Fila seemed to disappear in the late ’90s, but it’s recently started to show signs of a resurgence. The latest example, a new running line spearheaded by the Cage Runner model. Featuring an upper built with a classic combination of suede and mesh, the shoe is anchored with a white midsole and satiny cushioning at the heel. Check out additional images of both the gray and navy colorways after the jump. via: http://sneakerfreaker.com/sneaker-releases/Fila-Cage-Runner” target=”_blank”>SF
