When GoPro first entered the digital camera segment with its HD HERO, there were no other digital camera that catered for the action sports market. Actually, even to this day GoPro is still the preferred digital camera, yet they have decided to up the ante on themselves. The company launched the HD HERO2, which packs more performance than its predecessor. One of the biggest difference is the 170 degrees wide angle lens which captures more imagery at 1080p resolution, that is also said to be twice as sharp compared to the previous lens. Furthermore, the still photos can be taken with 11, 8 and 5 megapixels as well adding more options than the original HD HERO. If you need a little bit more of convincing, check out the video they have made using the HD HERO2 after the jump, which might just blow your mind.
