Ferrari 599 GTB 60F1

By - December 8th, 2011

The Ferrari name is synonymous with Formula 1 races, and Ferrari is celebrating their 60th year in the competition. This is in no way an easy feat, and the Italian automaker is making its achievements known to the world. The special edition Ferrari 599 GTB 60F1 is not available in showrooms, but it is being offered as part of its Tailor Made program. Three different specs will be offered, with each model representing a particular F1 win from the Ferrari team. The first of the three versions, the 375 F1, pays homage to the first win by Ferrari and driver Frolian Gonzalez at the 1951 British Grand Prix. The second version, the 150 Italia, honors the 60th win by Fernando Alanso at the Silverstone race course. Lastly, the 599 GTBM 60F1 is a variant of the 150 Italia color scheme. via: autoblog
