The notion that one’s mobile phone is as much fashion accessory as indispensable gadget is reinforced with the newest collaborative handset from http://lg.com/” target=”_blank”>LG and http://prada.com/” target=”_blank”>Prada. The Prada Phone by LG 3.0 is highlighted by its elegant, understated design, featuring a black case with discreet Prado logo up top and adorned with the brand’s signature Saffiano pattern at the back. The minimalist aesthetic is maintained with just a handful of physical buttons running underneath the fairly large 4.3-inch NOVA display with 800 x 480 WVGA touchscreen. While the phone’s looks will undoubtedly be the primary selling point, the technology on hand is respectable: it’s built on a dual-core processor with 8 GB of internal memory and runs the Android OS on a Gingerbread interface (which is customized with unique menus and icons in neutral shades of black, grey and white). Finally, there’s an 8 megapixel autofocus camera with HD 1080p capability. The phone is expected to land first in Europe and South Korea.
