While there is still a good number of months before its release in Summer 2012, the marketing machine over at Warner Brothers is running on full in the promotion of The Dark Knight Rises, its third and final film in director Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy with actor Christian Bale as Batman. Along with all the holiday gifts and parcels arriving this week, some will also receive a special edition The Dark Knight Rises Nokia Lumia 800 cellphone. In what else but a black polycarbonate casing laser-etched with the distinctive Batman insignia, the phone features additions such as a home screen sporting imagery taken from the film itself. Though it offers few clues as to how the film will play out on the big screen, it is certainly a notable addition to that last-minute holiday gift list of yours.
