In March 1995, after a short year and a half of retirement, Jordan announced, “I’m back.” And when he returned to the court, Jordan was wearing the famed Air Jordan 10‘s that featured the classic red, black and white colorway of the Bulls jersey. With a white tumbled leather upper, blacked-out tongue and laces, and a red and black checkered inner, these relaunched Air Jordan 10’s will be tough to get your hands on once they hit the stores this January.
Jordan fans will also notice a few other changes, including the lack of Jordan’s second jersey number, 45, that was stitched on the side of the original and the addition of a heel tab above the Jumpman. But with plenty of other numbers highlighting Jordan’s amazing career etched into the black and red striped sole, the legacy reflected in this sneaker remains intact.
