Biomega Copenhagen Chainless Commuter Bike

Shaft-driven bikes have been around for over 100 years, but they’ve never looked this good. Yet, for  those familiar with the Copenhagen-based Biomega, we have come to expect nothing less.

With designs that include bikes with bamboo frames and others born from collaborations with world-renowned industrial designers, Biomega’s newest project is equally impressive. The Biomega Copenhagen was designed with both the fundamentals of an urban commuter and the attention to detail needed to fabricate an sleek aluminum frame. This shaft and belt-driven bike makes commuting in dress clothes less risky because there are no chains, grease or gear cassettes to make things messy. And with 8 Shimano-tuned gears pushed by an internal hub and front and back disc brakes, you’ll have all the power you’ll need to get up all the hills and race down the other side. via: Pocket-Lint
