The Impossible Project, a company founded by ten former Polaroid employees whose mission is to keep instant film photography alive, has partnered with Polaroid on the “Instant Revolution” exhibition. It’s the first of what will become a series of artistic collaborations throughout the year that celebrates the launch of the Polaroid Classic Line. “Instant Revolution” will showcase the works of five artists — Gary Baseman, James Franco, Maripol, Mary Ellen Mark and Jennifer Juniper Stratford — whose photographs were captured with the last original production run of Polaroid Spectra film from 2008. The show opens February 9th at the Impossible Project Space in New York and runs through March 23rd.
