The idea was to bring a piece of New York to any location at a whim. Not just any part of New York, but the rustic setting that is the tenement’s rooftop. The result is the pigeon’s coop presentation by Staple Design for its apparel line’s Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. The idea took two years to complete, mostly because of its clothing, according to Jeff Staple, founder and owner of the creative agency and brand. Completely re-diesgined with new sourcing, the clothing features many of the familiar Staple theme, yet with more concise silhouette and cut. Then there is pigeon coop, designed by Staple and constructed by specialists at Seattle. A New York City rooftop down to the wooden water tank, roofing material (as the floor), and various vents (as tables and chairs), the whole setup can be break-down and ship through a 45-foot long container. A well presented concept, through and through.
