Alessandro Zuek Simonetti x carhartt WIP – T-Shirts – Spring 2012

By - February 15th, 2012

Alessandro Zuek Simonetti is a New York-based photographer who grew up in the small Italian town of Bassano del Grappa near Venice. He’s been plying his trade since he was a teenager, documenting the graffiti and skate scenes of the early ’90s. Though his background is in photojournalism, his photographs convey a fine art sensibility, as opposed to simply capturing a visual accounting of events. As a result, his black and white images appear to go hand in hand with street culture. In an upcoming collaboration with Carhartt WIP, they also grace four t-shirt styles, in which design and storytelling combine to create wearable pieces of art. via: Freshngood

I am always surprised at the kind of collaboration that makes Carhartt, I always seem to think very well with whom to share unlike other firms that simply want the business side ... alessandro photos are great
