Fine tuning its recipe of success with value and colorful options, the Vancouver-base footwear brand Native showcased the upcoming Fall/Winter 2012 Collection at PROJECT trade show in Las Vegas with “something new and something old”. The “new” would be the Cromwell, a throwback to the traditional slip-on rain boots and chukka in Native’s colorful renditions. The Native Jimmy will be available in two new forms as well, a mid-cut version closely resembles to classic duck shoes. Native will also include a shearling addition for the upcoming season. Finally, the popular Fitzsimmons undergoes an interesting alteration with “reclaimed or reconstituted leather”. Essentially recycled and unwanted leather materials, processed and then “flocked” onto a pair of Fitzsimmons to gave a feel and look of texture. Both economical and environmentally sound. The Fall/Winter 2012 Collection from Native will be available at retailers starting at the end of summer.
