At every conjuncture within Nike‘s innovative streak there was the HTM Collection, a remarkable partnership between Japanese influencer Hiroshi Fujiwara, legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, and Nike CEO Mark Parker. And just like when the collaboration first started in 2002, the three friends worked as one entity once again for the new Nike Flyknit Technology. Incorporated into their own design principles as well as lifestyles, the new Nike HTM Flyknit Collection encompassed two pairs of HTM Trainer+, a demonstration of possibilities of both Nike Flyknit’s visual appearance and performance element in the form of Lunarlon midsole. In addition, the sole HTM Racer edition further highlights the original premise of Nike Flyknit, to create the snug-fit, structurally supportive, yet lightweight athletic footwear. And by debuting at last month’s US Track & Field trials, designers at Nike have certainly hit their marks.
