In welcoming the newest member to the revived http://adidas.com/originals” target=”_blank”>adidas Originals Consortium family, the http://freshnessmag.com/2012/01/31/adidas-consortium-munchen-made-in-germany/” target=”_blank”>Muenchen “Made In Germany” edition, Munich retailer http://harvest-shop.de” target=”_blank”>HARVEST Store hosted a small gathering of friends and families for the sneaker’s launch last week. Both a tribute to the ultimately ill-fated http://olympist.org/summer-olympic-games/munich-summer-olympics-1972.html” target=”_blank”>1972 Summer Olympic Games in Munich as well as a celebration of Otl Aicher, the design director of those games, HARVEST Store adorned its space with graphics, illustrations, and event programs by Aicher. Carefully curated via the personal archives of Eberhard Strauss, one of original member from Aicher’s design team, the artifacts convey not just the importance of adidas Originals Consortium Muenchen but the progress of Munich’s restoration after World War II. The exhibition will be ongoing till mid-March.
