Adidas Originals first embarked on the ZX line back in the early 80’s with the goal of building a collection of running shoes designed for runners of all types and abilities. The sneakers that launched under the ZX label over the years drew from varied backgrounds, working to provide padding and cushioning in all the right places paired with designs and colorways that appealed to customer’s future-looking mindsets. Now, over 20 years since their inception, adidas Originals breathes new life into the ZX with the Comp series, which is set for an exclusive Foot Locker Europe release. Drawing on the ZX 750 and LA Competition for inspiration, the ZX Comp comes in three colorway combinations and features a lightweight mesh underlay with metallic accents and suede and reflective paneling. The ZX Comp’s outsole uses the original LA Competition’s variable absorption plugs and the famed Trefoil on the heel tab and tongue.
