Ferrari has announced a partnership with Swiss luxury watchmaker Movado. The two names have signed a multi-year, worldwide licensing agreement, in which Movado will design, create and market a collection of timepieces under the Ferrari banner. Efraim Grinberg, Chairman and CEO of Movado Group, Inc., says his company’s design group will take inspiration from Ferrari road cars as well as Ferrari Formula 1 race cars. The collection is scheduled to debut next year at the Watch & Jewelry Fair in Basel, Switzerland, with the watches landing at Ferrari stores and online shortly thereafter.
