Mazda – Takeri Concept

By - March 29th, 2012

An indication of things to come, Mazda is showing off its Takeri concept car at the upcoming New York Auto Show. It is most likely that this vehicle will be the predecessor successor to the current Mazda6 model, with a sharp styling that is pleasing to the eyes. Though there are no official words on the car’s powertrain, it will most likely be the recently developed SKYACTIV-D 2.2 liter diesel engine. Furthermore, improvement in the fuel economy is up to 10 percent, thanks to the i-stop idling stop system and the Mazda i-ELOOP system. More details will be revealed closer to its release and in the mean time enjoy the photos of the concept car after the jump. via: Carscoop
