Parra was in San Francisco for the launch of his http://sfmoma.org/exhib_events/exhibitions/442″ target=”_blank”>”Weirded Out” exhibition at SFMOMA, which just opened on March 31st. Parra’s first ever U.S. museum presentation, the show is highlighted by a http://freshnessmag.com/2012/03/23/sfmoma-parra-weirded-out-solo-exhibition/” target=”_blank”>60-foot-long mural created exclusively for the event. The Bay Area chapter of the Stussy Tribe was at the March 29th kickoff party at the http://mighty119.com/” target=”_blank”>Mighty, where Parra himself was on hand to greet guests and sign posters and tees. The Stussy store in the city’s legendary Haight District also launched its capsule collection of tees designed by the prolific Dutch artist.
