Ray-Ban Folding Wayfarer

By - April 6th, 2012

The Ray-Ban Wayfarer has been around since 1952, featuring a distinct shape that’s enjoyed waves of popularity throughout its history — highlighted by peaks in the ’50s and ’80s — and now undergoing a contemporary revival directly in line with the American heritage aesthetic. It’s hard to improve on a classic, but Ray-Ban has reworked the style with discreet hinges at the arms and bridge that allow the frame to be folded up into an ultra-compact form for easy stowing. The shades, in the traditional black colorway with the instantly recognizable Ray-Ban logo on the sculpted temple, are available now at Ray-Ban retailers like Virginia’s Need Supply.
