Rei Kawakubo, the founding designer of the cult brand http://comme-des-garcons.com/” target=”_blank”>COMME des GARçONS will be displaying a haunting all-white Spring/Summer 2012 collection at the http://galliera.paris.fr/” target=”_blank”>Galliera Museum at the Docks in Paris, France from April 13 – October 7, 2012. With every detail personally designed  by Kawakubo, the collection skirts the boarder of ghostly and suggestive across a range of silhouettes. Her pieces have always pushed the limits of conventional design and visitors will have the opportunity to discover, as the exhibit notes, Kawakubo’s “progression through a young woman’s life – from birth, communion, marriage, death, and transcendence” through her dress. Click after the jump for close up looks at a couple pieces from her collection, which open for viewing today, April 13th.
