Its never an easy responsibility to fill someone’s shoes, especially those of designer Jil Sander who propagated the notion of minimalist look in 1980s. UNIQLO, though, might have found the right complement to Sander’s +J creations in designer Jun Takahashi as he introduces the second iteration of his UNIQLO UNDERCOVER collection for Summer 2012. While not as minimalistic as +J‘s color block silhouettes, the new UU additions strike a balance between avant grade simplicity and everyday wear. Available for men, women, as well as kid’s designs, the UU Summer 2012 Collection will be available starting this Saturday, April 14th, at select UNIQLO retail locations in Japan with international locations to come soon. via: honeyee
