With 96 days left until the start of the London 2012 Olympics, Claire Hallissey will join world record-holder Paula Radcliffe and Mara Yamauchi wearing the Union Jack on the start-line of the Olympic Marathon after her strong performance at Sunday’s London Marathon. Nike also seized on the moment with the release of their London edition of the LunarGlide+3 City Series, which is part of a larger collection of nine shoes highlighting the world’s major marathons. Top Nike graphic designer, Mark Ward, helped with this special edition sneaker, whose design was inspired by the runners themselves pushing their limits down some of the world’s most famous city streets. This LunarGlide’s also features the great cushioning and stability you expect from Nike within an overall flexible and breathable upper and Dynamic sole wedges topped off with a fun insole graphic. Be on the lookout for more release information as it drops soon, but in the meantime click after the jump for more detailed images after the jump.
