The technology and specs of the Ricoh GR Digital are evolving fast. And with STUDIOUS‘ help, so is its look. The IV picks up a 1.2 million pixel 3 inch screen, a new high speed hybrid auto focus system (borrowed from the Ricoh CX6), an anti-shake sensor, a new image processing engine, and an increased ISO range of ISO80 to ISO3200. Ricoh launched the GR Gigital in a white colorway on their own, but STUDIOUS helped to push them further by making it an all-white affair; they removed the grey grip, lanyard, and lens cap and, in their place, used all-white components. This release also saw a change in the materials used in the lanyard and lens cap: using premium leather in the strap and metal for the cap. Only 500 of these model are available on the market and STUDIOUS’ own online shop is one of the best places to pick one up. Just don’t forget to pick up a new case to help keep it safe.
