Ever since Toyota announced that the GT86 was here to stay, speed addicts worldwide have been waiting for the Japanese car maker to build a charged version of its new sportscar. Too impatient to wait, Gazoo Racing decided to build one on its own using a 2.0-liter twin charged engine (yes, a turbocharger and supercharger) capable of producing 320 HP and 310 lb-ft via through a 6-speed manual transmission. On the outside, a styling package gives the GT86 a more aggressive and sportier silhouette while a new set of brakes, suspension system, and 18-inch racing wheels enhance its ride. The interior has been stripped and refitted with racing bucket seats, a 4-point harness, and new Gazoo accessories. The GT86 will be revealed at the grueling 40th 24 Hours of Nurbergring endurance race in Germany from May 17 – 20.
