Last month we were invited to check out the official launch of the Samsung Genome Project during the 100 Days Out event in Times Square New York City. We had the opportunity to check out the Genome Project live and discover our connections to Olympic grade athletes. Samsung was kind enough to send over a the new Galaxy Note mobile device for a more intimate look at this interesting ‘project’. The Project looks great on the large and crisp Super AMOLED 5.3 inch screen allowing us to quickly and easily navigate through the Genome Project. Check below to check out it out on the Galaxy Note or check out it out yourself on Facebook.
By simply connecting to the Samsung Genome Project via Facebook, you’ll automatically be connected to a number of athletes via your profile data. Athlete Soren Thompson is connected to me since he lives in New York City.
To further your Connections, all you have to do is answer a few Connection Questions. These questions, include favorite movies, songs, TV shows, books and hobbies.
After answering the questions the “My Connections” section is filled with more Olympic athletes you are connected to. Team USA Fencing athlete Miles Chamley-Watson and I live in New York City, like the TV show Modern Family and enjoy Hip-Hop.
If you haven’t had a chance to see “How Olympic Are You”, head over to the Samsung Genome Project and check it out.
