More looks at the much-anticipated, but little seen Renault Alpine A110-50 Concept we previewed earlier have leaked onto the web ahead of its official release on Friday, May 25. Cut and shaped to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its first generation model, the Concept features aggressive styling, a carbon fiber body, a powerful diffuser, and a massive rear spoiler much like the Renault DeZir sportscar. Additional noticeable changes include circular intakes in the bonnet and bumper and a slim new headlight and grille design. Rumors suggest the Alpine packs a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V6 capable of producing 394hp held within a tubular chassis borrowed from the company’s Megane Trophy. What is known for sure is that the fully functional concept will be driven on the Grand Prix track in Monaco tomorrow. via: CarScoop
