Y 3 Nomad Star Low

Youhji Yamamoto is one of the fashion world’s most dominant designers; he is continually innovating and collaborating with other leading brands to present pieces that reflect the many influences that have driven him over his more than 25 year career. Just within the last several months we have seen a vast range of style just within just his footwear partnership with adidas – under the Y-3 label – with his recent Honja Low Denim and Warrior High. Now Japan’s avant-garde spirit returns his focus toward more simple adidas silhouettes with his Y3 Nomad Star Low. Stripping the color commonly seen on the sneaker away and replacing it with designs inspired by the ornamental dress of nomadic tribes, Yamamoto’s Star low wears an all-white upper save for the black baroque scoops carved into the heel along to the shell toe-cap or a Red/Black/Blue colorway, both with Y-3 branding standing out on the tongue. No details yet on the release of the new Y-3 line-up, so stay tuned to catch the details when they drop. via: SF
