Almost like a rallying cry, the Greater China Press Preview for CONVERSE Fall/Winter 2012 Collection opened to the catch phrase “Let’s Do This, People.” However, the slogan carried no aggression or matter of belligerence. Rather, there was just so much to cover in one day’s time that CONVERSE China decidedly to amped up the media in attendance before the day really started. At the opening session and it was already evident that the little pep rally at the start helped. In CONVERSE Chuck Taylor All Star category alone, there were four major segments with hundreds of designs in total. One segment focused on women’s wear, such as the continuation of the CONVERSE ♥ Marimekko collaboration. Another was for Back To School season, where the introductions of Chuck Taylor All Star Break Hi and Chuck Taylor All Star Specialty will come in. Within the standard issue Chuck Taylor All Star Collection, an inclusion of new fabrics, like Indie Patterns, and altered silhouettes, such as Chuck Taylor All Star Re-Form and Chuck Taylor All Star Back Zip, will be added as well. Not to be left out, the preview included contemporary CONVERSE designs also, like the Pro Leather and Auckland Racer, all of which will all be re-launch in the coming seasons with updated materials and additions. Scroll down to see if any of the upcoming collection fancy your interest.
