Films like The French Connection and Bullitt have made the car chase a crowd-pleasing staple in American action movies. The guys who make up the British writer/director team The Theory -- aka Tom Jenkins and Simon Sharp -- have taken the chase scene off the movie screen, shrunk it down and transposed it onto an office setting, while keeping the thrills intact. Their short film "Speed of Light" (subtitled "The World's Tiniest Police Chase") was assembled using just a smartphone, MicroVision pico projector and a Canon 5D MkII and HD Minicam. The result, a high-speed pursuit that starts on a desktop and continues down onto the hallway, where a miniature Ford GT attempts to elude a police car and helicopter.
