The former location of DOMA Cafe in the West Village will open its door once again, as the newest retail spot for SATURDAYS SURF NYC. Along the quiet corner of Waverly Place and Perry Street, not far from iconic Village Vanguard, the storefront will be SATURDAYS SURF‘s third retail venture after co-owners Morgan Collett, Josh Rosen, and Colin Tunstall opened SoHo’s Crosby Street location back in 2009. This new spot also marks the meteoric rise of the retailer and surf lifestyle label, especially since it just opened its Daikanyama, Tokyo branch just some months ago.
Along with its own private label and numerous collaborations, the 740-square-foot SATURDAYS SURF West Village will be an exact transplant of its SoHo location right down to its espresso machine and La Colombe special blend. The only thing missing would be the courtyard though seating area in and out of the store will be suffice. via: WWD
