Jeff Koons Exhibition at Fondation Beyeler | Basel, Switzerland

By - June 18th, 2012

If you were lucky enough to be visiting the Art Basel in Switzerland last week, you would have definitely seen this fantastic exhibition by Jeff Koons at Fondation Beyeler. Here is a preview of the ongoing exhibition for those of us who were stuck behind the desk. The large-scale exhibition explores the three key series of works by the American artist – The New, Banality, and Celebration – representing the works produced over his successful career. Many of the artworks are no doubt familiar to fans of Koons, and the range of medium used includes porcelain, wood, and high-gloss steel sculptures, as well as large-format oil paintings. Do drop by next time you are in Switzerland, as the exhibition will be running until early September. via: designboom
