Opening Ceremony links up with Rick Klotz’s Warriors of Radness on a gnarly collection of surf-inspired essentials. “The Beach Crew 2012″ video lookbook for the project is appropriately shot at the beach, showcasing the collection’s bright colors and throwback silhouettes, featuring striped tanks, above-the-knee pastel shorts and loose-fitting sweatshirts and anoraks. His trademark candor allows Klotz to disclose that the guys at Warriors of Radness “just make the same thing every season.” He adds that the brand isn’t “anti-fashion,” but it’s “stuck in an aesthetic.” It’s one that works exceedingly well, building a following that keeps fans coming back for more.
