With Craig Cheek, Vice President & General Manager of the Greater China region indicating the event’s start, Nike China wasted no time to present the official uniforms for Chinese athletes at the upcoming London 2012 Summer Olympics. Together with Martin Lotti, the seasoned Nike Creative Director who is now its special lead manager for the Olympics, and Ricky Engelberg, Nike+‘s Director of User Experience, the gathered media and press saw a wide ranging scope of innovative products. Aside from the various uniforms for the numerous athletic organizations (billed as Federations), all told one of the largest sports entity in the world, the event also unveiled the launch of Nike+ program in China. In addition to the original Nike+ for Running, the program will also include the Nike+ FuelBand, along with Nike+ Training and Nike+ Basketball, which was put into a live demonstration by Dallas Mavericks’ Yi Jianlian. As for the Olympics, athletes from China are expected to take home more medals aside from the United States. All of the actions will take place starting July 27th.
