It has been nearly a year and a half since the nuclear meltdown at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, and the situation is far from resolved. The sluggish response from TEPCO, owners of the nuclear power plants, and Japanese government has steadily increased anti-nuclear sentiments between Japanese people. Even though, all of the nuclear power plants in Japan were temporary shut down after the disaster last year, the recent decision to power up the Oi Nuclear Power Plant has angered many, who saw it as an irresponsible and dangerous act.
Anti-nuclear demonstrations have been commonplace in Japan, and famed artist Yoshitomo Nara is doing his part to fight against nuclear power. Nara made this high-resolution No Nukes poster available for a free download from his personal Twitter account, allowing anyone to print it out for use at demonstrations and so forth. Nara said that this poster is free to be use by anyone, however they see fit, but he prohibits people from selling it for making profit.
