A direct tie-in to Nike Skateboarding‘s “Camouflage” Collection of apparel and accessories seen back in April of this year, this upcoming Nike Dunk High Pro SB edition features the same Lowland “ERDL” Woodland Camouflage motif. So named for Engineer Research & Development Laboratories, a research branch of the U.S. Army, the Lowland Woodland Camouflage, along with its Highland counterpart, became a crucial DPM to all Special Operation combatants in the Vietnam War. Its effectiveness meant a longevity as a standard issue till the most recent multi-cam and digi-camo upgrades.
As a matching set to the Nike SB Shuttle Bag, Eugene Backpack, and others within the design theme, the Nike Dunk High Pro SB “Camo” consists of white midsole with contrast black outsole, a black suede upper, oiled canvas overlay in camouflage, and leather Nike Swoosh in black. To complete the aesthetic, each pair comes with interchangeable laces in black and olive drab. To be available later on this month at select Nike Skateboarding accounts, the Nike Dunk High Pro SB “Camo” is also for sale now at Kasina retail chain of Seoul, Korea.
