Bell & Ross Vintage WW2 Regulateur Heritage Watch

As its entry to BASELWORLD 2012, the Vintage WW2 Regulateur Heritage Watch from Bell & Ross was in fact its third iteration which highlighted the importance of military timepiece. The endeavor started in 2011 with Bell & Ross PW1 (or Pocket Watch 1), a pocket watch with similar styling and functionality as those used during World War I. That was then followed by WW1 (or Wrist Watch 1), a facsimile of wrist watch from the time period. This year, took references from time keeping instruments utilized by World War II bombardiers in calculation of flight and navigational positions. As with those from 50+ years ago, the Vintage WW2 fashions a “gun metal” sandblasted steel with PVD finish 49 mm case. Enclosed, a Dubois Depraz mechanical movement with automatic winding. Because of gloved hands, the navigational timepieces then are usually quipped with a large bi-directional bezel to help time markings. As a contemporary replica, added a large bezel to the Vintage WW2. Sapphire crystal to minimize scratches, the Vintage WW2 is waterproof up to 50 meters and comes with a distressed calfskin band. Similar to the rest of the Vintage Series, only a limited number of the Vintage WW2 will be available at dealers worldwide.
