Star Wars Action Figures Recreate Iconic Images | By David Eger

Star Wars enthusiast (and clearly-talented photographer) David Eger has steadily been working on a weekly photo project called “52 Weeks of Star Wars,” where he uses characters from the famed series to recreate, relive, and re-imagine some of the most famous images of the 20th and 21st century. Building on his previous project, “365 Days of Clones,” Eger now takes on recreations of movies, historical events, popular media, music, paintings, and athletic achievements using fully designed sets and Star Wars related props where ever possible. A sample of his work, which is currently still underway through the end of the year, is after the jump. You can see the entire project along with commentary on how he’s created each shot on his Flickr page.
