April was the last time we saw a Hi-Top, military-styled Nike Air Force 1 boot and that one paid tribute to the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division. But today we’re seeing a first look at another less flashy, but equally ruggedly-styled high-cut silhouette with its own unique design scheme. Its tonal, Olive-colored, dual leather and rip-stop nylon construction is built atop a matching gum rubber outsole and is finished with thick rope laces and metal boot lacing grommets in place of the usual AF1 strap. Whether they actually end up on the feet of a causal hiker or in the collection of a sneakerhead, their angled collar, threated suede, and coarse canvas heel pulls make these a solid buy. Available now at Nike retailers, including Crooked Tongue’s online shop.
