Levi’s runway show during February of this year wasn’t just about the denim giant’s introduction of new styles and collections. It was also a forum for re-acquaintance to a Levi’s classic, the Sta-Prest line. Introduced in the 1960s, Sta-Prest was the few first non-denim product line for Levi’s. It was also the collection’s unique property, as one of the first non-iron article of clothing, that helped to create a new market for Levi’s. Like so many new merchandise during the then Mad Men-esque era, marketers decided to alter the name phonetically from “Stay Pressed” to Sta-Prest. Comes in shorts, cropped and full length pants, the updated Levi’s Sta-Prest Collection for Fall 2012 is now available at select Levi’s flagships and its online store.
