The North Face Back to Berkley Hiking Boots

Although The North Face has been on the feet and backs of countless climbers trekking up some of the coldest, most unforgiving mountains in the world, the brand’s legend ironically begins 150 feet above sea level on the beach of San Francisco. In 1966, two hiking enthusiasts resolved to follow their dreams and build a small mountaineering store in North Beach, forming what is now one of the most innovative and comprehensive collections of gear for climbers, hikers, runners, and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. Turning an eye back to their roots, this “Back to Berkley” hiking boot provides 4-season protection from the elements, constructed with a waterproof suede mudguard, a polyester and leather upper, and Hydroseal membrane. A 100g PrimaLoft Eco Insulation layer keeps your feet protected from impact and the chill of cold while a gusseted tongue and lace system keeps the boot snugly in place. All told, you get the performance of a hiking boot, without the over-to-top engineered look. Check it out after the jump in Blue/Tan, Tan, Yellow/Blue, and Grey; all of which are available now at oki-ni’s online shop.
