visvim: Study and Practice Exhibition 2012 Hong Kong | Event Recap

The complexity displayed by Japanese designer Hiroki Nakamura and his visvim label goes beyond words of description. Instead, its best to view his design in person, not unlike those by Rei Kawakubo of COMME des GARçONS fame. As a celebration of the label’s 10th anniversary, Hong Kong residents can now take in those design intricacies as the visvim: Study and Practice Exhibition 2012 made its latest stop at the F.I.L. Wan Chai store. While it is a visual timeline of visvim’s growth as a fashion label, the exhibit serves as a personal milestone too for Nakamura and features some of the designer’s earlier experiments, all part of a quest to perfect his craft.  The exhibition will be on going till August 3rd.
